Bariatric Surgery outcomes are superior when performed in a multi-disciplinary comprehensive program setting. The quality of the aftercare program is one of the main determinants of success for any patient. The American Society of Bariatric Surgery, American College of Surgeons and other organizations recommend that weight loss surgery to be performed only in a comprehensive program setting.
